Why in the world does this exist?

I mean, seriously. What purpose does such a poorly made and hilariously bad “documentary” like this actually serve? For whom was this made? Beatle fans? Conspiracy theorists? A crossover of the two? I honestly have no clue.

Any true Beatles fan is well aware of the “Paul Is Dead” rumor/theory that followed the band around for years. The band even had fun (at least from a lyrical standpoint) at the expense of all this crazy nonsense, and those who attempted to get at the “truth” of the situation. It’s fun stuff in the midst of the music, but I don’t know anyone who actually takes it seriously.

Enter this DVD, which purports to feature the voice of George Harrison, speaking on mini-tapes that were recorded before his death. Apparently he decided that it was high time to come clean about the fact that Paul McCartney really did die in a violent car crash early in the Beatles musical career and thus needed to be secretly replaced in order to prevent mass suicides and the demise of the band. Of course, there are so many holes in this theory, only a conspiracy nut could possibly put any stock in this line of thinking.

And thus goes the DVD itself. It’s so poorly done that I can’t imagine anyone actually wanting to watch it. It’s so far-fetched and over-the-top that it’s hard to take anything on here seriously. Avoid this like the plague unless you’re a hardcore conspiracy nut or if you’re just a glutton for punishment.
