Now I wish I could continue that sentence by saying “Hilarity continues” But I can’t, I really really tried too. There were some parts I did crack a smile, but I kept waiting for Zach Braff’s voice to start talking. I did feel like a “Scrubs” episode in a way, but not in the way that it wasn’t funny like “Scrubs” I felt the punch lines were not delivered properly, like they were expecting to be filmed in a studio audience and the laugh sign did not go on after a joke. Mostly the two of the characters did not appeal to me Penny and Max, something about them, lil over the top, Max is this gay friend and Penny is the single friend. This is going to have to jump pretty high to not get touched by the shark this fall. It is no “Scrubs”, and that is what I think ABC is trying to find, another “Scrubs”. You be the judge.
